My Photo's!

I have today taken photos of my model for my magazine, for the shoot in the studio I decided to use bubbles and balloons, however we decided that balloons had better effect so focused on the the balloon side of things more! I have added a sample of these below! I have yet to edit them.

Magazine name ideas

I have finally decided on a name for my magazine, after much thought, below is a spider diagram of my ideas:

After deciding that my magazine will be called 'Turn It Up' i have come up with an idea of how it could be written.

Location ideas

For my front cover of my magazine I am going to be taking my shots in the studio of my artist, using proffessional lighting equipment.



However for my location shots for my double page spread I am still undecided about where to do these.

Analysis of magazine front covers

Top of the pops magazine is glossy monthly magazine, published by BBC magazines and was started in February 1995.

The main content of the Top of the pops magazine is celebrity gossip and it is aimed at girls age twelve onwards,

The use of colors on the front page is bright and attractive, but the use of purple means this attracts inparticular to girls.

The title is also the same as every issue allowing readers to recognise it in the shops when there is a flood of other music magazine jumping out and you.

Ont the front cover the magazine uses no long words, just simple ones so it is easy for a young audience to read it aldo has minmal text on the front page.

The front page has a feature photo of  'JLS', who are well liked by young girls, this makes them want to read about them but ultimatley buy the magazine.
